CinderBella’s Children’s Boutique

I have been extremely busy promoting CinderBella’s Children’s Boutique since that I started working for them. It is good to have a “JOB” again. This time, it is one that I truly love. Children’s fashion is my passion, but working alone can often become emotionally draining. I am a real people person and I love seeing people and friendly faces every day. I love helping people, so working at a location where needy people are arriving every day searching for a solution, is just where I want to be. For some, this position would be draining, but for me, it is totally energizing. I just love my job! There is no doubt about it. I love helping you solve your fashion or gift dilemmas.

My personal business and custom work, will continue, but this site has not ever been financially rewarding. I think it is because I didn’t do the research necessary to make it optimal. So, my brother and I are doing the research now to help make this new venture the very best. In the process, this website may see some changes also.

So, if you are a CinderBella’s customer that picked up one of my cards and are just visiting, I say a whole hearted, “WELCOME!” and I hope you enjoy the visit.

Change is good!

Time for a change, again. This time, I hope for good. I know it’s for the good, but I hope that I don’t have to move again. I’m talking about my business. The new little shop thing didn’t last. I have a real job with CinderBella’s Consignment Boutique. I do believe that this is a very good thing. I am happy to be working with Dilia Singley. I think that the two of us will make great improvements on the shop. I will be busy for awhile trying to get the fall line finished and building a website for CinderBella’s. Real Tree Camo Car Seat Cover

I guess I am now specializing in Carseat covers. It seems that everyone wants or needs one these days. Of course, my collection wouldn’t be complete without a Camo Real Tree Cover.

I can make these seat covers in any fabric that you like, they are padded with quilt backing. I am thinking of making a cheaper line of slip covers, but these things are all made so differently, it doesn’t seem that I could mass produce them. I have to get the exact name of the carseat so that I can custom made them to fit.

Custom Carseat Covers

Every time I make something, I am thinking, “How can I make this better or faster?”, always looking to improve something. I think it is my ADD. I can’t stand to sit still very long. A bad trait for one whose living depends upon production. LOL

This time I decided to cover the existing carseat cover instead of making one to fit over it. This one is definately a custom fit, just like an upholstery job. The custom fit insures that the car seat belts can strap in the infant seat without a hassle and without hampering the fit. I noticed on the other covers I have done, you have to push the cover over so the seat belt will fit into the grooves.

I will still be looking for easier faster way, I think. This was time consuming, especially the hood.

I love the turquoise paisley print in combination with the polkadots. Don’t you?

Monday, May 9, 2011- The New Beginning!

May 9, 2011. The beginning of a beautiful relationship, in a beautiful shop. I’m so happy to have a real shop to work in, after having worked from my home for the past two years. Thank you so much Nicole White for offering me this great opportunity. I know it’s going to help fuel my business. She and I are joining forces to finally open her shop at 11593 Hwy 64 E, Tyler, TX 75707. She named her shop “Bada Bling Boutique”. She has an infatuation with Jewelry that turned into her business. She has filled her shop with lots of eye candy at very reasonable prices.

We spent today cleaning and painting and staging the shop. It’s fun, but alot of work. I have sewing orders waiting for me to get my sewing tables moved in, hopefully tomorrow. But, I so hate moving.

I’m still designing clothing for CinderBella’s and they placed a big order for their new Grand Opening. New Owner, Dilia Singley, is working dilligently as I to get her store ready. So, keep your eye open for both of our Grand Openings. Two new wonderful boutiques to keep you decked out for the summer.

The Necessary Cottage

This week is going to be busy, next week will be crazy; then, we will be at Canton starting April 28th for our Grand Opening of The Necessary Cottage! The Necessary Cottage is a booth at the Canton Market place, the newest and greatest part of Canton’s First Monday Trades Days in Canton, TX.

I am so excited, I can hardly wait. So much to do and so little time. We, I keep saying we because I have a new Partner, Gwen Bowen. I will still keep my website for awhile and have my business here seperate, but eventually, “Our” business may take over all my time. It will all be the same, but just more and better with two of us working hard at it.

We are working on more boy clothes because there is such a great need for it. However, we will still have the same great girly girl things. Hopefully, more things readily available for impulse purchases, lol. Of course, still offering great customer care and custom work. Gwen loves to do the embroidery work and she is really good at it. She has already designed a couple of really great summer boys designs. The shark is sure to be a great seller.

These are sure to be best sellers. They are coupled with some matching shorts. Great for beach wear or everyday playwear.
